Great shoes! I've been meaning to send you a note but I've been too busy walking around the country in your wonderful shoes to find enough time to sit down and write. Just got back from Philly (think I would have stayed through July 4th!) where I spent three days just walking around town in your shoes, taking in the historic sites. At the end of the day my feet still felt great even though the rest of my body was very tired.

A week or so before I was in Toledo and I stopped into a funky downtown store in an old bank that handled classic American clothes. The elderly salesman upon noticing my shoes asked if they had been made by Gokey's!! I was impressed. He was even more impressed when I told him the story of your business. He had to kneel down and touch them to feel the leather. A rather spiritual experience for us both, I think!

Anyway, your shoes were worth the wait and I'm already thinking about my next pair!!
